The University of St. Thomas is a community of learning, faith and service. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we support and challenge one another to treasure and manifest the presence of God in the world around us.
Spirituality and Worship Opportunities
Opportunities for spirituality and worship abound including Common Ground, peer ministry, retreats & events, service opportunities and student clubs. Visit the Campus Ministry website to learn more.
St. Thomas is also home to the St. John Vianney Seminary and the Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity.
Service and Social Justice
Part of the University's mission is to be an academic community that is both in and of the city. This mission is advanced through a number of offices.
- The Tutor Mentor and Literacy Connections programs are part of the College of Education, Leadership and Counseling.
- The Early College Awareness program is offered by Student Diversity and Inclusion Services.
- All other service learning and community engagement operations, including the Community Engagement Network, are housed in the Office of Service Learning and Civic Engagement.
Students are invited to explore service and justice opportunities in the Twin Cities, nationally and abroad.
