Undergraduate Admissions

Transfer Application in 3 Easy Steps

Step 1: Review the transfer application timeline.

St. Thomas has a rolling admission application process.  Applications are reviewed as they are received. Priority deadlines for transfer students applying to St. Thomas are:

    • Fall semester: August 1
    • Spring semester: January 1

Step 2: Review the transfer application requirements.

Applicants who have earned a college GPA of at least 2.30 in transferable credits from a regionally accredited college or university will be considered for admission.  If you have less than 28 semester credits or the equivalent, your GPA may need to be higher for acceptance.

In addition to completing an application, transfer students must submit the following:

    • Official high school transcript(s) or GED
    • Official college transcript(s)
    • Writing sample
    • Dean of Student Life Form
    • Optional: ACT or SAT results
    • Optional: Letters of recommendation

Note:  All transcripts MUST be official and sent directly from the institution(s) you previously attended. Facsimiles and photocopies are not considered "official."
