Application Access Tips
Having problems accessing your application? Below you will find some helpful "Quick Tips" to get you on your way. Please note that the steps below for each tip are specific to Internet Explorer (IE) 6.x, however, other browsers use different methods to clear browser cookies and cache, and to adjust privacy and security settings. Please use your browsers help menu to find out how to access these features.
Tip 1: Clear your browser cookies and cache.
- From the menu list at the top of your browser window, go to "Tools"
- From the drop down menu, choose "Internet Options"
- Choose the "General" tab at the top if it isn't already selected
- Click the "Delete Cookies" button
- Click the "OK" button
- Click the "Delete Files" button
- Check the "Delete all offline content" checkbox
- Click the "OK" button
- Click the "OK" button at the bottom
Tip 2: Check your browser privacy settings.
- From the menu list at the top of your browser window, go to "Tools"
- From the drop down menu, choose "Internet Options"
- Choose the "Privacy" tab at the top
- Use the slider to choose the "Medium" setting
- Click the "OK" button at the bottom
Tip 3: Check your browser security settings.
- From the menu list at the top of your browser window, go to "Tools"
- From the drop down menu, choose "Internet Options"
- Choose the "Security" tab at the top
- Click "Trusted Sites" at the top
- Click the "Sites...." button
- Add www.stthomas.edu
- Click the "OK" button
- Click the "OK" button at the bottom
Tip 4: Close and reopen your browser.
It may also be necessary to restart your computer.
