Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) Application

The following policy applies to high school students who wish to take courses at the University of St. Thomas under the provisions of Minnesota's Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program.

Step 1: Review PSEO application deadlines.

The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) application and supporting materials are accepted for review between:

    • February 15 - June 1 for fall semester. 
    • September 15 - December 1 for spring semester.
    • All materials must be postmarked by the deadline; no applications will be accepted or considered after the deadline.

Step 2: Review PSEO application requirements.

You will be considered for admission to St. Thomas for PSEO if you:

    • Have completed your sophomore year in high school.
    • Rank in the upper 10 percent of your high school class.
    • Have a 3.75 or higher grade point average (GPA) on a four-point scale.
    • Have standardized test scores equal to or greater than a composite SAT of 1180, an ACT of 27, or 118 on the PSAT (verbal + math).

Note: For students at schools that do not rank students, coursework and standardized tests are given additional weight.

In addition to completing an application, you must submit the following materials to the PSEO coordinator in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, postmarked by the application deadline:
