Which category is right for you?
Freshman
You would apply as a freshman student if you have graduated from high school or you have completed a home-schooled curriculum and you haven’t taken any classes for college credit since your graduation.
Note: If you have PSEO credits or other college credits that you received while in high school, regardless of the amount, you would still apply as a freshman student.
Transfer
You would apply as a transfer student if you have been enrolled at a college or university and have attended classes for at least 10 days or you have taken any class for college credit since graduating from high school.
Part-Time
Students interested in completing a bachelor's degree on a part-time basis would apply as either a Freshman or Transfer student as noted above. Under the "Online Application Feedback" section of the online application, please indicate your interest in only part-time enrollment. Part-time students are typically adults who are several years removed from their high school graduation and are working full-time.
International
You would apply as an international student if you are not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States. Freshmen and transfer international students follow the guidelines for freshmen or transfer students as stated above. Also, if transferring from a U.S. institution, you must complete an F-1 immigration form. In addition, international applicants must provide evidence of English proficiency and financial support. Please visit the international admissions website for complete information.
Home-Schooled
Home-schooled students apply as any other incoming freshman student would apply and follow the same timeline and procedures.
