Clubs & Organizations
Most St. Thomas students are involved in activities outside of the classroom. UST has more than 80 clubs and organizations, and they range from academic to volunteer with everything in-between. And the best part is, if there isn’t a club or organization in a specific area of your interest, you can start your own!
Academic: Interested in hearing a professional from the accounting field talk? Do you like to "debate" ideas and issues? Would you like to help your career and enter an advertising competition? Academic organizations are a fun way to meet people in your major, network, participate in academic events and get advice from professionals in various fields.
Special Interest: If it isn’t covered anywhere else, it is probably covered here. If you’re a fan of Frisbee, you can join the UST Ultimate Frisbee team or the Disc Golf Society. Interested in exploring your faith? St. Thomas has several faith-based organizations including Campus Crusade for Christ, The Solid Rock (TSR) and the Muslim Student Association (MSA). There is also a St. Thomas Film Society, a social justice club, a volunteer club, a sailing club…
Club Sports: Are you an "active" student? You can join crew and see the banks of the Mississippi River every day for practice, compete in ski competitions against other schools, or represent St. Thomas on our men’s or women’s lacrosse teams. Either way, you can stay active at UST.

Tip: Many of the clubs offer free food at some of their meetings. The more you’re involved, the more you eat!
