Academic Calendar: Traditional & Flexible

St. Thomas follows a 4-1-4 academic calendar:

• Fall Semester, September through December
• A four week January term
• Spring Semester, February through May

Each semester consists of approximately 14 weeks of classes and a four-day examination period

During the January term, classes are optional. A variety of classes and projects for credit are available during J-term.

During the three summer months, classes are optional. Students may choose to take summer classes in order to accelerate completion of studies.
