At St. Thomas each graduate program sets their own admission deadlines. It is VERY important that you check the application deadlines and requirements of the program to which you are applying because those MUST be followed if they are prior to the dates at the bottom of this page.
Overall, to ensure an accurate and timely process, we would advise international students to begin the admission process at least one year prior to the time they wish to enter the university.
Since the inception of SEVIS and the requirement of personal visits to the U.S. Embassies abroad, it is even more important that you allow time for the application process and enough time to schedule your appointment with the U.S. Embassy.
Keep in mind that the following priority deadlines are for immigration purposes only.
Priority deadlines for those living outside of the United States:
· Fall Semester: May 1st, 2007
· Spring Semester: October 1st, 2007
Priority deadlines for those living within the United States:

· Spring Semester : January 1st, 2008
