I chose St. Thomas because it is a small-sized private university with a vivid campus life. At St. Thomas, what I learn is not only about how to study, but also about how to use my knowledge to practice in the real world. Every class I take here is practical, preparing me for the future.
I like the professors here best. They are always trying their best to answer any kinds of questions that I have. They are my teachers, but my friends as well.
I think the Twin Cities are a nice place to live, neither too gigantic nor too small. It offers me a chance to get involved in the chaotic city life, but also a quiet campus life to study.
I am involved in a variety of campus acitvities. Some are related to my business majors, such as accounting club and marketing club. Some are based on my ethnicity, such as Globally Minded Student Association and HANA.
I think, as an international student, one of the most important qualities is confidence. Living in an exotic country, we will definitely experience a process from unfamiliar to familiar. Confidence can help us to get used to and get involved into our new life quickly. I think all of will have a fantastic experience at St. Thomas.
