I chose St. Thomas because it has a good business program. It is more practical than theoretical, in comparison to universities in Uganda. I also like the exposure which is a good opportunity for me to learn how different things are operated here.
The openness of the people and their willingness to help. It makes me feel at home here. People in the community go beyond your expectations to help and care for you, which is really great.
The area has many lakes which offer many different activities to do, like canoeing, fishing, and wind surfing. There are also many places to go hiking. This area is filled with all types of people, of different personalities and backgrounds, which helps all to learn about other cultures.

I would advise students to be friendly and open-minded. Feel free to ask any questions because everyone is willing to help you.
