Why did you choose St. Thomas?

My uncle is a professor at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing and he told me about St. Thomas and its business program because UIBE and St. Thomas are sister schools.  St. Thomas is also a great private university that provides many opportunities for students.

What do you like best about St. Thomas?

St. Thomas respects international students and provides many opportunities for students to work on campus and take part in different activities.  These help students to improve social skills and motivate them to work towards the future.  The class style and environment is also great.  Professors know the name of each student and they can help each student individually.

What do you like about being a student in the Twin Cities area?

St. Paul in Minnesota is a peaceful place to accomplish undergraduate study.  Downtown Minneapolis is a fun place to enjoy leisure time with friends.

What campus activities are you involved in?

International Student Mentor, Globally Minded Student Association treasurer, International Student Ambassador, campus tour guide, Eastern European Club.

What advice would you give to prospective international students?

St. Thomas is a perfect place to study, to have fun, to prove how great you are.  A lot of opportunities are waiting for the students who want to grab them.
