Academic Calendar

St. Thomas follows a 4-1-4 academic calendar:

• Fall Semester
  September through December
• January term
• Spring Semester
  February through May

Each semester consists of approximately 14 weeks of classes and a four-day examination period.

During the January term, classes are optional. A variety of classes, studey abroad opportunities, and projects for credit are available during J-term.

During the three summer months, classes are optional. Students may choose to take summer classes in order to accelerate completion of studies.
