Yellow Ribbon Program

Who is Eligible?

Post 9/11 GI Bill recipients who are entitled to the maximum Chapter 33 benefit rate (100%) may be eligible to participate in the Yellow Ribbon program at St. Thomas.

The total number of awards and the maximum amount offered by the university varies by college. Recipients must be selected on a first-come, first-served basis to comply with the program rules established by the Veteran's Administration. At St. Thomas, the date by which a completed application is submitted to the financial aid office will be used to determine "first-come, first-served".

Visit the Veteran's Administration website to determine if you are a qualifying veteran or a dependent eligible for Transfer of Entitlement based on a veteran's service.
