Associate, Public Relations Services in Eugene, Ore.; associate director of admissions at the University of Montana; English teacher, TOZA Language Academy in Kyoto, Japan; event and tourism coordinator at Larimer Square in Denver, Colo.; capitol news coordinator for Colorado State University.

Professor Wyatt's research interests include: media ethics; press criticism; media literacy; media and democracy.  Her work has been published in such journals as Journal of Mass Media Ethicsand the International Journal of Applied Philosophy.  Her book, Critical Conversations: A Theory of Press Criticism, will be published in 2007.  Currently, she is research chair for the Media Ethics Division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, and book review editor for the Journal of Mass Media Ethics.  She serves on the Minnesota News Council.

CRN: 21258 4 Credit Hours Instructor: Wendy N. Wyatt This capstone seminar for graduating seniors explores ethical issues that confront communication professionals and audiences. Students explore theoretical perspectives on communication ethics, work from case studies to understand professional ethical standards, discuss current ethical issues in communication, work in teams to perfect oral and written ethical analysis skills, and write an individual thesis paper. Prerequisites: graduating seniors only and permission of department chair
