Professor Wyatt's research interests include: media ethics; press criticism; media literacy; media and democracy. Her work has been published in such journals as Journal of Mass Media Ethics and the International Journal of Applied Philosophy. Her book, Critical Conversations: A Theory of Press Criticism, will be published in 2007. Currently, she is research chair for the Media Ethics Division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, and book review editor for the Journal of Mass Media Ethics. She serves on the Minnesota News Council.
