School of Education

The College of Applied Professional Studies is a newly formed college that includes the Graduate School of Professional Psychology and the School of Education.

Building on almost a century of success in education, the School of Education provides each of our students with programs that blend academic excellence with a values-based education. We are a community committed to developing knowledgeable, collaborative, ethical and reflective practitioners. We expect our graduates to be transformative leaders who are guided by a commitment to social justice, diversity and the promotion of democratic learning communities.

Our graduates demonstrate this commitment in their professional lives as teachers, educational administrators, police officers, faculty and leaders in human resources, organization development, nonprofit and corporate administration, public agencies, student affairs and law enforcement.

Our faculty and students are practitioner scholars. They are engaged in collaboration with partners who share our passion and concern for enhancing human learning and development.

We are dedicated to helping you meet your academic, professional and personal goals as you become a member of our learning community.
