The University of St. Thomas

Academic Counseling

Prospective Students

Are you a high school student that would like to take classes at St. Thomas as a PSEO student? To begin the enrollment process, contact Undergraduate Admissions. After completing the application you will be notified if you have been accepted and receive information about PSEO orientation and registration. During orientation and registration you will have the opportunity to meet with an Academic Counselor and register for courses. Juniors in high school are able to take one course at UST each semester. Seniors in high school are able to take as many as three courses at UST each semester. PSEO students may take no more than six courses total at UST.

Are you a Senior in high school looking at UST for your college education? The first place for you start is with Undergraduate Admissions. Once you have completed your application and gained admittance, you will receive information about our summer Orientation and Registration schedule. During these O&R sessions Academic Counseling will work with you to put together your fall semester.

Are you currently attending another college and wish to transfer to St. Thomas? If so, you should begin with Undergraduate Admissions. After applying and receiving notification of your acceptance, an Academic Counselor will work with you one-on-one to discuss how your previous coursework will transfer into UST and help you register for courses. Transfer students also participate in an orientation session before classes begin their first semester.
