M.S., Counseling, The University of Wisconsin-Madison, May 2005

B.A., Psychology, The University of Wisconsin-Madison, May 2001

How did I get here?

After graduating from the UW, I spent two years living in Chicago working on research projects to help build a foundation for my counseling pursuits.  I worked on studies that examined African-American adolescent exposure to violence and family mediation techniques.  When I went back for my Master’s degree, I realized that I wanted to work with college students and conducted my practicum internship as a Career Counselor.  After graduation I was open to several related student affairs and student academic affairs positions and have recently begun my position at the University of St. Thomas in the beginning of March 2006.

Interests

Going to see live music and collecting live music (I have over 300 shows), playing darts, traveling (when I have the time), anything and everything sports related, the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and all things Wisconsin Badgers
