School of Divinity Programs of Study

The School of Divinity offers graduate programs in theology to prepare women and men, lay and ordained, to provide leadership and service to the church and society. Each program has a distinctive focus.

The Master of Arts in Theology offers advanced study of theology both for those seeking broad preparation across the theological disciplines and for those seeking in-depth study in areas such as Scripture, moral theology, systematic theology, and historical theology.

The Master of Arts in Religious Education provides an integrated approach to the professional and spiritual development of those serving the Church in administering or teaching religious education programs in schools and parishes..

The Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry provides the opportunity, in a systematic way, to consistently think through the relationship between theology and pastoral life.

The Master of Divinity prepares men and women for various ecclesial ministries, including pastoral leadership, catechesis and adult faith formation, chaplaincies, or other forms of ministerial service.
