• Mathematical Association of America (1894, 1920)
  The Mathematical Association of America is the largest professional society that focuses on mathematics accessible at the undergraduate level.

• American Mathematical Society (1888)
  Programs and services for AMS members and the mathematical community include professional programs such as meetings and conferences, surveys, employment services; publications including Mathematical Reviews (a database of nearly 2 million items covering over 60 years of mathematics literature), journals, and over 3,000 books in print; support for Young Scholars Programs and the Mathematical Moments program of the Public Awareness Office; resources such as MR Lookup for researchers and authors; and a Washington office that connects the mathematical community with the broader scientific community and with decision makers who determine science funding.

• International Mathematical Union (1919-36, 1951)
  IMU is an international non-governmental and non-profit scientific organization, with the purpose of promoting international cooperation in mathematics. It is a member of the International Council for Science (ICSU).

• The Association for Women in Mathematics (1921
  The purpose of the AWM is (1) to encourage women and girls to study and to have active careers in the mathematical sciences and (2) to promote equal opportunity and the equal treatment of women and girls in the mathematical sciences.

• National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (1920)
  The NCTM is the primary professional organization for teachers of mathematics in grades pre-K–12.

  The Math Forum is a leading center for mathematics and mathematics education on the Internet.  It operates under Drexel's School of Education.

• Wolfram MathWorld (1995)
  MathWorldTM is the web's most extensive mathematical resource, provided as a free service to the world's mathematics and internet communities as part of a commitment to education and educational outreach by Wolfram Research, makers of Mathematica.

   A collection of mathematics related resources maintained by the Florida State University Department of Mathematics as a free service to the online community.
  
  The WWW Virtual Library (VL) is the oldest catalogue of the Web, started by Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of HTML and of the Web itself, in 1991 at CERN in Geneva. Unlike commercial catalogues, it is run by a loose confederation of volunteers, who compile pages of key links for particular areas in which they are expert; even though it isn't the biggest index of the Web, the VL pages are widely recognised as being amongst the highest-quality guides to particular sections of the Web.
