B.A. magna cum laude in Religious Studies from Boston University
Pursuing M.A. in Leadership in Student Affairs from University of St. Thomas (anticipated 2010)

Ashley joined UST in January of 2007 as the Coordinator of Career & Professional Development.  She is originally from Pennsylvania and lived in the northeast and rural south working in the non-profit sector for before relocating to the Twin Cities.  

Within the Office of Career & Professional Development, Ashley is responsible for managing the department’s electronic resources (including Symplicity, UST’s online career center), coordinating the CPD website and newsletters, facilitating student programming, managing on-campus interviews (OCI), and generating and analyzing reports on student employment data.  She is particularly interested in using technology to make career resources more accessible to students, and learning more about encouraging students’ vocational discernment.   

Ashley is currently pursuing her M.A. through the College of Applied Professional Studies and has enjoyed the opportunity to get to know student affairs colleagues in other UST departments and campuses.  She also participated in the UST mentorship program in 2007-2008.   Ashley is a member of the Minnesota Career Development Association, Minnesota College Personnel Association, Minnesota Legal Career Professionals, National Association of Legal Career Professionals, and University of St. Thomas Higher Education Student Association.  In 2007, Ashley won the Graduate Case Study Competition at the MCPA conference in Duluth and had a paper published in the Division of Student Affairs newsletter at UST.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her partner Adam and golden retriever puppy, Ace.
