Goals for FY ‘08 Include:

  1. Continued development of WebSPACE. Examples include:
    1. Begin roll out of UST Portal Technology.
    2. Continue the redesign and migration of UST Web Sites to Collage.
    3. Design the UI and develop requirements for UST publishing system and News Hub.
    4. Increase usability assessment services and training.
    5. Formalize Web Analytics services.
       
  2. Increase functionality and usability of campus technology for all users through improved "Functional Needs Assessment" methods.
     
  3. Collaborate with campus units to coordinate, establish and continuously improve automation of university business services. Examples include:
    1. Portal development phase 1, phase 2.
    2. STAT phase 2 (productize and rollout to other departments).
    3. Newshub / Bulletin.
       
  4. Continue the expansion of the Faculty Center for e-Learning with physical and virtual programming.
     
  5. To provide support to in collaboration with Client Services and IT to provide reliable, secure and cost-effective core solutions and services of those applications that are "owned" by Web & Media Services.
     
  6. Continue to move the community into a best practice with their email marketing with an eye toward providing Constituent Relationship Management (CRM).
     
  7. Advance Specific Media Projects. Examples include:
    1. Acquire and begin the process of integrating HD (High Definition) video production into the UST environment.
    2. Further development of planned approach to upgrading of TV Studio, Radio Station and OEC Auditorium.
    3. Develop and document a strategic process to address and prioritize the greatly increasing number of requests for high end marketing videos, by the end of January 2009.
       
  8. Continue support of the Capital Campaign through strategic video productions throughout FY 2009.
