The Terrence J. Murphy Institute sponsored a public forum featuring remarks by constitutional scholar Douglas W. Kmiec on the subject of citizenship, personal faith, and the 2008 presidential primary.
Professor Kmiec, a frequent commentator on PBS and NIghtline, has served as head of the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel, dean of The Catholic University Law School and chair of former presidential candidate Mitt Romeny's Committee on the Constitution. He currently holds the Caruso Family Chair in Constitutional Law at Pepperdine University School of Law.
