In addition, the Twin Cities Fine Arts Organization (www.twincitiesfinearts.org) is hosting Art on the Town (www.artonthetown.org), a Twin City-wide art event with member galleries offering exhibitions, lectures, artist demonstrations and more. Art on the Town will kick off with a reception at Open Book on Oct. 6th and run through the 16th.

The CAGC Fall Art Tour receives support from the ACTC (Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities) and the UST Family Weekend Committee. Visit www.stthomas.edu/familyweekend  for a list of Family Weekend events, including the Fall Art Tour.

The artists in this exhibition use lines, the most basic of the design elements, to interpret transition and change. An example of ever-changing lines can be found by gazing at the horizon - it appears the line is straight but it is easily altered. The artists are striving towards their own "horizon line", the ever-changing expression of the most basic of all ideas.
